93.7 KISS Country has always had a unique opportunity to utilize our on-air personalities for product / service promotion. It’s one way your business can cut through and gain a competitive advantage in marketing over your competitor as one of our on-air personalities promotes your business. Our on-air personalities provide a trust factor with our audience and they work!
A couple of other things to keep in mind:
• Majority of consumers say that their favorite personality influences their opinion AND they have considered or purchased a product advertised during their favorite show. The relationship progresses from fan to friend, with over 78% of listeners saying “I trust on-air personalities like a friend.”
• 53% of listeners say the main reasons they choose to listen to their favorite radio station are their favorite DJs, personalities, and shows
• 38% of listeners searched for a product or service that was recommended by their favorite personality or show
Why do On-Air Personality endorsements work?
According to research, consumers respond to endorsements for five primary reasons:
1. We like to see a familiar face on a product — it catches your attention, making the ad stand out.
2. Subconsciously, we want to be like the endorser (i.e. own/use similar products).
3. On-Air Personality endorsements can open up new demographic audiences — different ages and backgrounds for the product.
4. On-Air Personality Endorsements create the impression you’re getting a high-quality product.
5. We’re more likely to recall an ad with an endorsement from someone we trust.
Outgoing, energetic and fun …are just some of the words that describe Stefan Carpenter. He\’s hoping to be a part your day and hopefully gives you a reason to smile while you\’re at work, home, or in your car. If you don\’t, he guarantees your money back.
