Christopher Ignacio Barajas of Laton. A judge has issued a probation violation warrant associated with a previous arrest for spousal abuse.

Christopher Barajas got into an argument with his girlfriend, which resulted in him punching her several times in the body and head. When she attempted to leave the house to contact law enforcement, Barajas grabbed her and locked the doors to prevent her from leaving. The young woman was finally able to slip out a door. Barajas chased after her, but then ran away when a neighbor came over to help the woman.

The incident was reported to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies arrived, located Barajas and arrested him. He spent four months in the Fresno County Jail and was let out as part of a probation release agreement. He has since violated the terms of that agreement and now has a warrant out for his arrest.

Christopher Barajas is 23 years old, 5’10”, 165 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. He may have a mustache and goatee.
