The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office most wanted person of the week is:
Juan Fernando Ramirez of San Joaquin. A judge has issued an arrest warrant for a probation violation related to domestic violence and child endangerment charges.
Juan Ramirez got into an argument with his girlfriend, who is also the mother of their three children. The woman attempted to walk away from their apartment located near Main Street and Arizona Ave. in San Joaquin, but Ramirez chased after her as she pushed a stroller with all of the kids inside of it. The kids, by the way, were all under the age of three. Ramirez knocked his girlfriend to the ground and kicked her numerous times. Meanwhile, the stroller rolled away, almost into the street where there was traffic. Ramirez showed no regard the children’s safety. He just walked away after beating the woman. A witness reported this incident to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office and deputies responded to take a report.
Two weeks later, a deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by Juan Ramirez, who was wanted for the previous assault. The deputy arrested Ramirez and booked him into the Fresno County Jail. He served his time of six weeks and was then released. Ramirez later made a probationary agreement and has since violated the terms of his probation.
He is 26 years old, 5’11”, 230 lbs., with brown eyes and brown hair. He may have a mustache and goatee.
If you know the location of Juan Ramirez, please call Crime Stoppers at 498-7867. All tips remain anonymous and you may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
